Fresh Fish and Chips

Naturally, the cornerstone of the menu is the fish and chips. The crispy, golden-brown fish pairs perfectly with golden, crunchy fries. Many patrons rave about the generous portions, making it an excellent choice for a satisfying meal. Whether you're enjoying the fish and chips with a side of pasta salad or clam chowder, you'll find the balance of flavors and textures irresistible.

Fish Tacos and Shrimp Tacos

For those who want a twist on traditional fish dishes, the fish tacos and shrimp tacos are an exciting option. Each taco is filled with perfectly cooked fish or shrimp, topped with fresh ingredients that create a flavorful bite. Whether you go for the crispy fish or the succulent shrimp, these tacos are a fantastic alternative to the usual seafood offerings.

Crab Melt and Crab Cakes

Crab lovers will be in heaven with the crab melt or the crab cakes. The crab melt, a warm sandwich featuring fresh crab, melted cheese, and a toasty bun, is rich and flavorful. Pair it with a cup of clam chowder for the ultimate seafood comfort food experience.

Coconut Shrimp and Clam Chowder

For those who love a bit of sweetness with their savory meals, the coconut shrimp is a must-try. Coated in a light, crispy coconut batter and fried to perfection, the shrimp are served with a tangy dipping sauce that enhances the flavor. If you're in the mood for something hearty, the clam chowder bowl is a favorite choice. This warm and creamy soup is made with fresh clams, potatoes, and vegetables, offering the perfect accompaniment to any meal.

Sweet Treats to Finish Your Meal

No meal at The Crazy Norwegian’s Fish & Chips would be complete without indulging in one of their homemade desserts. The Marionberry Pie and Blueberry Pie are local delights, featuring sweet, juicy berries baked into a flaky crust. For a tropical twist, try the coconut crème pie or the tangy key lime pie. Like thousands before me, I came for the fish & chips. After watching videos and reading reviews online the hype was real. The fish was fantastic. Crispy yet flakey and flavorful. This dish was clearly a taste of the pacific, and truly a staple on the coast that you should definitely visit. The fries complimented the fish very well, and are clearly an important part of what they do here. I know this place has a bunch of reviews on their fish & chips, but for good reason. Great job crew.

First stop after arriving in Port Orford. Had the 4 piece fish and chos combo with pasta salad. No pictured was THE best strawberry and peach pie with vanilla ice cream I have ever had. The pie crust was divine and the filling was just right. I even received a complimentary slice to go. It was as unreal the next morning with coffee as the slice with ice cream.

I wish there were six stars, it was that good. We had local rock fish, which was excellent. Don't forget the dessert, this place has a pie maker beyond belief...best coconut cream pie on the West Coast!

Prices are a bit high for the amount and quality of food, but it is served hot and fresh. Very hard to find a table so this shows they are popular and busy! They offer indoor seating along with an outdoor area with picnic tables. There is wait staff that serves both areas. I wasn't impressed with the clam chowder for the price and was disappointed that it is not made fresh , but my husband loved his hamburger and fries. I would probably give them another try if I pass through again. Overall good experience! Wait times are long during peak hours.
